How to watch Fubo in a Tesla
Fubo is a live-TV service heavy on sports. It plays in the Tesla browser with a Fubo subscription, good for catching a game at a charger.
Good to know: Browser only. Requires a Fubo subscription.
Step by step
-
Park the car
Streaming only runs in Park. Shift into Park and keep the car awake, a charging stop is the ideal moment.
-
Open BigScrn in the car browser
Open the in-car web browser and go to bigscrn.com. Bookmark it so it is one tap away next time.
-
Tap Go full screen
On the launcher, tap Go full screen. BigScrn bounces the browser through YouTube, the one site Tesla opens full screen. Tap "Go to site" when it appears and you land back full screen, and the browser stays that way.
-
Launch Fubo and sign in
Tap Launch on Fubo and sign in with your account. The browser remembers it, so you only sign in once per car. It opens full screen.
-
Press play
Start a title. It fills the display and audio plays through the car speakers.
Questions
Does Fubo work in a Tesla?
Yes. Fubo runs in the Tesla browser while the car is parked. There is no built-in Tesla app, so the browser is the way in.
Do I need a Fubo subscription?
Yes. You watch with your own Fubo account, the same login you use on a phone or TV.
Can I watch Fubo while driving?
No. Streaming only works in Park, and you should never watch video while the car is moving. BigScrn is for passengers and parked, charging cars.
Where does the Fubo audio play?
Through the car speakers. Set the volume on the steering-wheel scroll or the on-screen control as you would for music.
Is BigScrn part of Fubo?
No. BigScrn is an independent launcher and setup guide. It is not affiliated with Fubo, Tesla, or any streaming service.
